The relationship between liver and gallbladder dampness and heat and eyes

The condition of damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder is related to the health of your eyes. If it continues for a long time, your body will always be in a sub-healthy state, which will definitely have a bad effect and cause other complications in the body, such as frequent hot face or fear of heat, which will completely affect the patient's normal life and work schedule.

Since the liver and gallbladder are located in the middle burner, they fall into the category of middle burner diseases in the triple burner differentiation. The key points for diagnosis of liver-gallbladder damp-heat syndrome are distension and pain in the ribs, loss of appetite, abdominal distension, jaundice of the body and eyes, genital itching, and signs of internal damp-heat.

The treatment for damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder is mainly to eliminate dampness and clear heat, and to clear the liver and promote bile secretion. Experts say: use products that clear away heat and detoxify, cool blood and remove blood stasis; for those with more dampness than heat, use aromatics to clear turbidity. Gentian, scutellaria, honeysuckle, wild chrysanthemum, gardenia, capillaris, red peony root, raw rehmannia, northern bupleurum, raw licorice, plantain seed and raw rhubarb can be used for medicinal purposes. These medicines can regulate Qi and harmonize other medicines, and prevent their bitter and cold nature from damaging the stomach and consuming Qi. In addition, Bupleurum, Rehmannia, and Red Peony Root have the effect of nourishing the liver and blood, and have a very good effect on patients with damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder.

For those with dampness more severe in the liver and gallbladder, you can use white cardamom, pinellia, akebia, scutellaria, calamus, forsythia, red peony root, raw coix seed, capillaris, curcuma, and ganlu disinfection pill. Medicinal Patchouli Leaves are used for conditioning. These medicines are excellent products that can promote bile secretion and reduce jaundice, remove turbidity from the prescription with aromatics, and clear away heat, remove dampness and detoxify.

1. Day lily and lean meat soup: 30 grams of day lily, 60 grams of lean meat, cook into soup and drink. It can cure acute icteric hepatitis, chronic hepatitis B, and patients diagnosed with damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder according to traditional Chinese medicine.

2. Daylily porridge: 30 grams of daylily, 15 grams of lean minced meat, appropriate amount of glutinous rice and white sugar, cook into porridge, 1 to 2 times a day, can clear away heat and cool blood, reduce swelling, diuresis, relieve pain, and improve eyesight. It is suitable for acute icteric hepatitis and chronic liver belonging to the liver and gallbladder damp-heat type.
