Why are there ants on the bed

In our lives, many people do not pay attention to hygiene, which will lead to a lot of small insects in the home. Sometimes ants even crawl onto the bed. This can easily lead to people being bitten by ants while sleeping, which can cause formic acid allergy. It is quite dangerous. At this time, you must pay attention to hygiene and never eat on the bed. So why are there ants on the bed?

First, keep clean. Second, don't eat in bed, especially sweet food.

Ants are social insects, and wood and food are their favorite foods (especially sweets). Wooden furniture and floors are more common nowadays, and the nooks and crannies left by decoration are places for ants to live and breed.

Ants crawl through dirty places such as garbage, with their feet and bodies covered with bacteria, viruses, and parasite eggs. They then crawl onto meals, food, and clothing, not only spreading more than 40 diseases such as typhoid and dysentery, but also transmitting viral hepatitis and other diseases by biting humans.

The reproduction of ants can be said to be the best among insects. Once female ants mate, they will be pregnant for life. A female ant can carry 320 million fertilized eggs. Except for the male ants which die shortly after mating, the worker ants live for about 7 years and the queen ants can live for 20 years.

Ant prevention and control: Ants like dark and humid environments. Pay attention to maintaining indoor hygiene, especially in the kitchen and around sewers. Food scraps and domestic waste should be disposed of promptly, and interior decoration should be kept as simple as possible, leaving fewer gaps and sanitary dead corners. If you find ants in your home, you should pay close attention to it. First, fill the gaps with cement and then kill them with medicine. The most ideal drugs at present are the aerosols "Nakesha" and "Yiqiangning".

1. Sprinkle white wine in places where ants appear, and the ants will die in large numbers until they are eradicated.

2. Use several egg shells, roast them on the stove until they turn yellow (not burnt), then grind them into powder and sprinkle them around the ant nest and places where ants frequently come and go. Because this powder has a fragrance, ants love to eat it, and they will be overstuffed to death if they eat too much. After a few days, you will see a lot of dead ants on the ground. If you do this frequently, there will be no ants anymore.

3. Use a discarded bicycle inner tube and rubber gloves, cut a rubber strip about 1 cm wide in a ring shape, and wrap it around the food. (Although rubber strips cannot completely eliminate red ants, they can effectively prevent their infestation)

4. Sprinkle water soaked with tobacco (soak for two or three days) or cigarette shreds in places where ants appear (such as the entrance of ant nests or doorways, window sills). After a few days, ants will not come back. But this method only prevents the ants from coming, it does not kill them.

5. Place fresh fennel in a place where ants come and go frequently. The next day, many ants will come to the fresh fennel. Kill them with boiling water. You won’t see ants for a long time afterwards.
