How to clean makeup brushes

How to clean makeup brushes

Makeup is a way for women to modify their facial flaws and often enhances their appearance and self-confidence. During the makeup process, some auxiliary tools are often used to apply makeup, such as makeup brushes, makeup eggs, etc., which can make the makeup fit the face better and appear more natural and delicate. However, after using makeup brushes, many women face the problem of cleaning makeup brushes. How should makeup be cleaned?

Makeup brush cleaning

1. There are two cleaning methods: water washing and loose powder. Brushes with different bristles will have different cleaning methods.

2. Brush hair is mainly divided into two types:

Made of animal hair: used with dry powder cosmetics. For example, powder brushes, blush brushes, eye shadow brushes, etc. should not be washed with water frequently, as this will damage the bristles. In daily life, ladies use it by themselves, so they can just clean it once a month with water + detergent. If you want to change the color temporarily, you can use the loose powder washing method. Use the same dry powder to

We put the powder in the brush.

Man-made fibers: used with liquid and paste cosmetics. Such as foundation brush, eyeliner brush, etc.

Wash casually. Use water + cleaning liquid. If the foundation brush is used with foundation liquid, it will easily deteriorate, so it is best to clean it every day.

3. Cleaning method:

(1) Clean with warm water + detergent:

1. Wet the bristles (be careful not to get the mouth of the brush and the joint of the bristles wet) and let the bristles face downward.

2. Pour the washing water into the palm of your hand. Use your fingertips to gently push outwards along the direction of the bristles.

3. Use your fingertips to gently push the brush outwards along the direction of the bristles until all traces of makeup are completely washed away, and then rinse with water.

4. After washing, place a towel or paper towel on the table to absorb moisture, tidy up the bristles, and then dry in a cool place.

5. After drying, gently rub the bristles with your hands, and then flick them with your fingers to make them fluffy again. If a brush is not in use for a while, it can be inserted into a bottle (or bag) with its head facing upwards.

Note: 1. Dry naturally, do not use a hair dryer or dry in the sun, otherwise it may damage the material.

After washing, you can also soak it in hair conditioner to make the bristles softer.

2. Don't wash the joint of the brush handle. The joint contacts the wooden handle and is difficult to dry, which can easily cause loosening. Try not to get the sticky part of the brush mouth wet!

3. Be sure to wash in the direction of hair growth. Otherwise it will damage the hair.
