What to do if the stomach is centrifuged

What to do if the stomach is centrifuged

There are many patients with stomach problems in our lives. The most common phenomenon for some patients is heartburn caused by stomach acid. Because our stomach is very close to our chest, we may feel uncomfortable in the chest when our stomach disease attacks. Some people will have a feeling of stomach centrifugation when producing stomach acid, so what should we do if the stomach is centrifuged?

Excessive gastric acid leads to "centrifugation". Gastritis and gastric ulcer can also lead to excessive gastric acid. Some people have simple excessive gastric acid. It is recommended to go to the hospital for a check-up. The treatment of various excessive gastric acid is different, so it is difficult to say what to eat to prevent it.

The burning sensation is heartburn. Heartburn refers to a burning or burning sensation in the pit of your stomach. Some people think that heartburn is a symptom of heart disease, but in fact, heartburn is a common digestive tract symptom. Among the general population in my country, 3% to 4% of people have experienced or often suffer from heartburn.

To understand what heartburn is, you first need to understand the structure of the stomach and stomach acid. The stomach is connected to the esophagus through the cardia. There is a high-pressure ring in the muscle at the lower end of the esophagus called the lower esophageal sphincter, which is like the elastic band of a cuff. Normally, the sphincter tightens the lower end of the esophagus, so that swallowed food and drinks can smoothly "pass through" into the stomach. Under normal circumstances, the food digested or stored in the stomach and

Gastric juice will not flow back into the esophagus.

Gastric acid is hydrochloric acid produced by gastric mucosal cells with a concentration of about 0.1%. Gastric acid and pepsin, etc., work together to carry out preliminary digestion of protein in food. The stomach itself is not afraid of being digested by gastric acid because it has a protective system composed of 3 to 4 layers of substances. One of the reasons why normal gastric peristalsis can push digested food into the duodenum instead of backflowing into the esophagus is that the stomach pushes

It goes forward rather than backward, and more importantly, the sphincter at the lower esophageal end is there to strictly control the flow of food - it only allows food to enter the stomach and not flow back.

Once the sphincter pressure drops and becomes poorly closed due to various diseases such as ulcers, gallbladder disease, surgery, and medication, or the stomach's propulsion direction is reversed - pushing backwards, and the esophagus cannot push the refluxed gastric acid and food back into the stomach in time, problems will occur.

The lining of the esophagus (medically known as the mucosa) is a stratified squamous epithelium that cannot withstand acid erosion. Once the esophageal mucosa is eroded and digested by acid, heartburn symptoms will appear through nerve reflex. Therefore, heartburn means that there is reflux of gastric fluid into the esophagus. In mild cases, it affects the patient's quality of life. In severe cases, it can cause esophagitis, esophageal ulcers and even bleeding, which are all risk factors for esophageal cancer. Over time, esophageal stenosis may occur, leading to difficulty in swallowing.
