Eat too many crabs

Eat too many crabs

In our lives, crabs are a very common delicacy. Many people prefer to eat crabs because the nutritional value of crabs is very high, and we can also supplement a lot of protein and trace elements when eating crabs. However, when eating crabs, we must be careful not to eat them with fruits high in vitamin C. So what should we do if we eat too many crabs?

From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, crabs are cool foods and are extremely rich in protein, so many people with physical illnesses should not eat crabs.

Possible harms of eating too much crabs:

1. Cause allergies;

2. Cause digestive diseases, such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, acute gastrointestinal diseases, etc.;

3. Cause hyperlipidemia, hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases;

4. Cause biliary colic and cholecystitis.

Every 100 grams of crab roe contains 466 mg of cholesterol, and every 100 grams of crab meat contains 65 mg of cholesterol. People with hyperlipidemia, hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and obesity should reduce the frequency of eating crabs. It is best to selectively eat only the crab meat, and eat less or no crab roe and crab paste. People with hepatitis, cardiovascular disease, cholecystitis, pancreatitis, weak spleen and stomach, colds and fever, and a history of allergies should not eat crabs.

For healthy people, eating too many crabs can cause indigestion symptoms such as bloating, and for some people who already have illnesses, eating crabs will aggravate their conditions.

Normal people can drink some white wine or Shaoxing rice wine when eating, and add ginger, perilla and other condiments when cooking. If you feel bloated after eating crabs, you can take Chinese patent medicine to relieve stagnation.

It is okay to eat four or five crabs at a time, but not more than that.
