What harm do fleas do to the human body

In the last century, everyone's family conditions were not very good. Due to lack of conditions, people often did not take a bath or wash their hair. If bacteria multiply on people's bodies, it may lead to the appearance of fleas. The initial form of fleas is flea eggs. Flea eggs are continuously hatched by the growth of bacteria on the human body and gradually grow into mature fleas. So what harm does fleas growing in the human body do to people?

Fleas are extremely small and have many stiff hairs that grow inverted, which help them move inside the fur of the host animal. It also has two strong hind legs, so it is good at jumping and can jump seven or eight inches high. The female insect lays eggs in dusty corners, small holes in walls and floors, or on animals, which then fall to the ground or migrate as the animals move. The eggs are white and will hatch into white, legless larvae in about four or five days. The larvae feed on organic matter in dust and flea feces. Two weeks later, the larvae spin silk and dust to form a cocoon and pupate inside it. After another two weeks, the fleas emerge from the cocoon. If fleas come into contact with animals, they will immediately suck blood and cause harm. Therefore, to eliminate fleas, you need to fill the holes in the walls and the ground with lime or mud, and clean them regularly to keep them dry and clean. You can also spray insecticide to kill them.

Yersinia pestis is a tiny bacillus that causes plague. The fungus is transmitted to humans by fleas (rat fleas) that live on rats. After fleas sucked the blood of plague patients, their stomachs were filled with plague bacilli and their esophagus was blocked by bacteria. Although they are rat fleas, they sometimes bite humans. When this bacteria-carrying flea sucks in blood, the blood cannot enter the stomach because the esophagus is blocked by bacteria and flows back into the body of the bitten person from the mouth. The plague bacteria then enter the human body and cause the person to suffer from plague. When fleas suck human blood, they may also excrete feces on human skin, which also contain a large number of plague bacteria. Because the bitten area is itchy, scratching will bring plague bacteria into the tiny wound, which can also cause people to be infected with the plague.

Harm to humans: Fleas not only endanger the health of animals, but also pose new challenges to people's living environment quality and health. Both sexual adults of fleas have the habit of sucking blood. When people are bitten, it often causes allergic reactions in local tissues, producing papules of varying sizes. Those with severe reactions feel extremely itchy, and it can also cause iron deficiency anemia. Fleas are important vectors that can spread a variety of important infectious diseases, including red worm disease, plague, hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, endemic typhus and bartonellosis.
