3. How to steam wolfberry

Ingredients : 500g wolfberry, 150g wheat flour, 50g corn flour, appropriate amount of refined salt, appropriate amount of thirteen spices, appropriate amount of chicken essence.

1. Wash the wolfberry spikes clean and drain the water.

2. Mix wheat flour, corn flour, thirteen spices and chicken essence.

3. Pour the washed wolfberry spikes and flour into a slightly larger container.

4. Mix thoroughly so that each wolfberry spike is evenly coated with flour.

5. After the water in the steamer boils, wet the cage cloth with water, wring out the water and spread it flat on the steaming grate, pour in the mixed wolfberry and cattail spikes, cover, and steam over high heat for 10 minutes.

6. Let it cool down a bit after taking it out of the pot. It can be eaten immediately or mixed with garlic juice or chili oil.

7. It will be chewier and more fragrant after frying, a bit like the feeling of eating meat. Wolfberry is very seasonal and will be gone after the season. Foodies should hurry up!
