What does air conditioning dehumidification mean

Nowadays, almost every household has air conditioning. You should know that the air conditioner cannot be used for too long. If it is used for too long, the moisture inside will increase. The principle of air conditioning dehumidification is to remove the condensed moisture inside, so that when using the air conditioner, faster and better results can be achieved. Therefore, everyone should clean the air conditioner regularly.

The principle of air conditioning dehumidification

The first principle of air conditioning dehumidification is to use air conditioning refrigeration and dehumidification. Because during the cooling process, the humid air will evaporate through the air conditioner and precipitate in the form of condensed water, becoming "condensation" that condenses on the fins of the evaporator. When the cooling mode reaches a certain equilibrium state, the air humidity will drop to a certain level. Therefore, when the air conditioner is in the cooling process, not only the air temperature is lowered, but also the humid air is precipitated.

The second principle of air conditioning dehumidification is to use air conditioning for independent dehumidification. Most air conditioners on the market now have a dehumidification function. Its working principle is to reheat the air cooled by the evaporator to its original temperature and then send it into the room. This means that the indoor fan is always running at a low speed, and most of the cooling capacity generated is used to balance the latent heat of the indoor air, that is, water vapor becomes condensed water. A small part is used to balance the sensible heat, that is, to reduce some of the indoor temperature. This cycle continues, keeping the room temperature close to the set value while removing a large amount of moisture from the air.

How much is the appropriate temperature for air conditioning dehumidification

At present, the dehumidification temperature of most air conditioners on the market is automatically set by the manufacturer. When we turn on the dehumidification mode of the air conditioner, we should first check the room temperature and then set the operating temperature. If the manufacturer sets the target value to be 2 degrees lower than the room temperature, then if it is set too high, the dehumidification effect will not be obvious, and if it is set too low, it will affect the room temperature. Therefore, it is best to lock the set value to avoid lowering the room temperature too much during dehumidification. At this time, you don’t need to set the temperature, just turn on the dehumidification function.

For air conditioners that are not automatically set by the manufacturer, we need to set it manually. The temperature is generally best set at 4 degrees lower than the room temperature. For example, if your cooling temperature is set at 28 degrees, then your dehumidification temperature should be set at 24 degrees.
