Many people think that going to a barber shop to perm their hair is a luxury and it also wastes a lot of time, because sometimes the barber shop is crowded and they have to queue up. So people will buy some perming supplies at home and perm their hair themselves. This not only reduces costs and saves time, but also allows them to perm their favorite hairstyle. It is also a challenge for themselves. So what are the steps to perm your hair by yourself?

Perming your hair at home is a very challenging thing. As long as you have confidence in yourself and master the basic perming techniques and the use of perming solutions, you can also DIY it at home. Here are the steps to perm your hair using solutions:

1. Blow the washed hair until it is 80% dry;

2. Apply the solution evenly on the hair at the required height;

3. Check the softening degree of extremely damaged hair for about 3 minutes; damaged hair for about 6 minutes; healthy hair for about 10 minutes; damaged and thin hair should be tested about 5 minutes in advance. The hair is qualified if it can be stretched 1.5 to 2 times after softening.

4. Rinse the softened hair with warm water, do not apply conditioner, use a dry towel to absorb the moisture and divide it into sections. Use a ceramic or plastic curling iron to curl your hair to the desired position and heat for 15 to 20 minutes.

5. Remove the ceramic curling rod, apply agent B when curling (Note: the plastic curling rod does not need to be removed), leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes, rinse it off, and style your hair as desired.
