What injection should I get after being bitten by a snake

Snakes are common in some southern cities, and snake bites are common. Snake bites need to be treated promptly. So what kind of injection should be given after a snake bite? Once bitten by a snake, if you are not sure whether it is poisonous or not, you must act as if it is poisonous. First, tie the wound tightly with a rope, and then squeeze the blood out of the wound. The most important thing is to go to the hospital for treatment in time. Generally speaking, different snakes require different injections.

Even if you are bitten by a poisonous snake, it is not a big deal. It can usually be cured with proper treatment. The method is to tie it tightly with a rubber rope 15 to 20 cm away from the bite wound to prevent blood circulation. If you don’t have rubber rope, you can use other ropes (if all else fails, you can always use belts, right?). Then use a knife to cut open the wound in a cross shape with the wound as the center (if you can't find a knife in an emergency, you can find a clean stone and knock off a small piece of thin stone to use as a scalpel), try to squeeze out the blood from the wound. If the wound is swollen and purple, in addition to squeezing out the blood, you should also suck out the thick blood with your mouth (there is no need to be afraid as long as there is no wound in the mouth). Rinse your mouth with water after each sucking. If conditions permit, clean the wound with a dilute potassium permanganate solution; if not, rinse with clean water. If you don't even have water, it doesn't matter. Just squeeze it with your hands and suck it with your mouth. After sucking it, find some tender grass and leaves (don't look for plants like guttaceous grass) and chew them a few times before spitting them out (the purpose is to clean your mouth). One thing you need to note here is that you should loosen the rubber rope for 1 to 2 minutes every 15 minutes or so to allow the blood to circulate properly. Otherwise, the muscles near the wound will become necrotic due to lack of blood supply. Don't worry that the venom will take the opportunity to flow into the heart, because you believe that you have squeezed out a lot of blood and venom in the ten minutes before. The new blood can provide nutrients on the one hand, and neutralize and dilute the remaining venom on the other hand, and you will still have blood to squeeze in the next step.

After the above treatment, you can generally buy a few more hours to get to the nearest hospital for treatment. After completing these tasks, you can apply and take the snake medicine. There are many kinds of snake medicine, which are sold in pharmacies. Remember to prepare some when going out into the wild. I use Ji Desheng snake medicine from Nantong Pharmaceutical Factory (very similar to the advertising slogan). Apply half to the wound and take the other half. After all this, if the snake is not very venomous, you can continue your adventure. If it is a highly venomous snake such as a golden or coral snake or a cobra, you can also go to the nearest hospital for rescue "calmly". I was once bitten by a bamboo pit viper, but after treating it, I continued my adventure again. Of course there was nothing I could do at that time, as the nearest hospital was two days away. In short, if you get bitten by a snake, don't be afraid, you can't win the jackpot. If you handle the situation calmly, you can generally get through the dangerous situation safely. But don't mess with the king cobra, it scares me!

When camping in the wild, it is best to find a place with water nearby. But be careful not to camp near the water, especially during the flash flood season. When heavy rains come, mountain streams are dangerous places where flash floods may occur. Find a place that is high, sheltered from the wind and flat. There are larger trees and less shrubs around. Whether setting up a tent or putting out a sleeping bag, there is one thing you should do before doing so. That means clearing the venue. Clean the area where you will sleep. Build a small wall of rocks around your tent or sleeping bag. It only needs to be about ten centimeters high to prevent small insects from crawling over. It would be better if you bring sulfur powder with you. It is ideal to sprinkle some sulfur powder around.
