How to remove dye from hands?

People often go to barber shops to dye their hair in various colors. Generally, hair dyers will wear gloves when dyeing hair to avoid getting the dye on their hands. Because once the dye gets on your hands, it cannot be washed off by ordinary methods, and it may take a long time to slowly fall off. In fact, it is not difficult to solve this problem. For example, the following methods can help wash off the dye.

How to remove dye from hands?

Hair dyes are mainly divided into two categories. One category changes the color of hair by oxidizing the hair pigment. The main ingredients of this type of hair dye are oxidants (6% hydrogen peroxide) and benzene amines and nitro compounds (naphthylamine, resorcinol and toluidine, etc.). Another major ingredient is propylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol (both account for about 50%), phenolic compounds (less than 1%) and other additives. Some formulas also contain lead, silver, mercury, arsenic and bismuth (all less than 0.1%).

Cleaning method 1.

You can borrow perm solution A or perm solution No. 1 from the hair salon, dip a little perm solution A with a wet towel, and gently wipe it on the skin. The hair dye on the skin will be dissolved quickly. The effect is very good!

Cleaning method 2:

Prepare a piece of vitamin C, crush it and mix it with warm water, then use a soft cloth to wipe the marks on the skin directly to remove them.

Cleaning method three:

Find some cigarette ash or incense ash, add some water and mix well, then apply it on the mark, rub it gently for a while, and then wipe it with a wet towel to remove it.

Cleaning method 4:

If you don’t have vitamin C or ash on hand, you can wear gloves and dip some hair dye on your hair before washing your hair, then rub the stains on your skin, and then rinse with clean water to remove them.

Cleaning method 5.

Cleansing oil can remove hair dye from the skin. Apply an appropriate amount of cleansing oil to the skin where the hair dye is located, make circular motions with your fingers to dissolve the hair dye, and then rinse with clean water.

Tips for removing hair dye stains from clothes:

1. Wipe with cold perm lotion

If hair dye has just been stained on clothes, you can apply perm lotion to the stain, rub it and then wash it off with soap. However, the effect will not be obvious for stains that have been there for a long time. At the same time, it should be noted that if it gets on the skin, although it can be faded by wiping it with cold perm solution a few times, it will cause greater damage to the skin.

2. Wipe with ash

Wiping with ash is also quite effective, or you can drop a few drops of water into the ash, dip your hands in it and rub it on the areas stained with hair dye. It is a simple method and will not hurt the skin.

3. Wash with rice vinegar

Cleaning with rice vinegar is also a simple and effective method. Apply rice vinegar on clothes or skin stained with hair dye, leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with clean water. But again, if the dye is left on for too long, the effects won’t be as noticeable.

4. Clean with ammonia

Ammonia can also remove some stubborn stains, but it is not good for either clothes or skin, and it has a strong odor that most people cannot stand.

In short, the key to cleaning hair dye that gets on your skin or clothes is speed. If you accidentally get it on your skin or clothes, be sure to wash it off quickly.
