When the temperature is too low, they will be frozen and form a hard core, which cannot be cooked through by steaming or boiling. If the temperature is too high, they will sprout. It is best to keep the room temperature at around 15℃. Sweet potatoes are easily attacked by bacteria and rot when they are exposed to moisture. It is best to store them in breathable wooden boxes.
