Can the mouth be reshaped

Can the mouth be reshaped

With the rapid development of the times in recent years, the beauty industry has become more and more popular. Many women have become obsessed with their faces and want to make some adjustments. However, there are also many people who are not satisfied with their mouths and are considering how to have plastic surgery on their mouths. There is no need to worry, as the mouth is also a very popular part of the plastic surgery. The following article introduces several lip plastic surgery methods. If you don’t understand, you can take a look.

What are the lip plastic surgery methods?

1. Upper lip plastic surgery

For an upper lip that is too long, foreign experts advocate removing a full-thickness strip of upper lip tissue at the very top of the upper lip, that is, at the junction of the lip and the bottom of the nose, to shorten the upper lip upward. Some people also advocate cutting a strip of skin and muscle in the shape of the vermilion arcuate arch below the upper lip, that is, at the junction of the red lip and the white lip, to shorten the upper lip. Since many young people in my country have a scar-prone physique, obvious scars are easily left after excision. Unless absolutely necessary, it is best not to use the above method easily. A relatively safe surgical method is to remove a strip of mucosa and muscle on the oral side at the junction of the lip margin and oral mucosa, shorten the upper lip upward, and then suture the wound directly. This way the incision scar will not be exposed.

2. Plastic surgery for large cleft mouth

If the size of the mouth is not proportional to the size of the face, for example, if the mouth is too large, you can use the above surgery and at the same time, remove a small piece of diamond-shaped tissue at the junction of the mucosa and skin at the corner of the mouth to reduce the shape of the mouth.

It is necessary to point out here that before performing the above operations, there must be a correct diagnosis, that is, to make it clear that the upper lip is too long, too thick, too large, has no arch curve, and the lower lip protrudes more forward than the upper lip. It is not caused by hemangioma, lymphangioma, alveolar ridge deformity or mandibular protrusion. If any of the above lesions occur, lip cosmetic surgery cannot be used for treatment.

3. Cleft lip surgery

Cleft lip is divided into: unilateral upper lip cleft, bilateral upper lip cleft, median upper lip cleft, and median lower lip cleft. According to the degree, it is divided into I, II, and III degree fissures. Different cleft lip repair methods are used differently.

4. Lip Surgery

Double lips are more common on the upper lips of young men. The symptom is that there is another red lip inside the red lips, so it is called double lips. Lip swells are more noticeable when eating, talking, and laughing. The surgical method for correcting genital warts is similar to that for lip augmentation. In order to keep the upper lip loose after surgery, some oral mucosa can be retained when the hyperplastic mucous glands are completely removed so that it will not be too tight during suturing.
