What foods are made from broad bean products

Broad bean products are a common food in Northeast China, such as five-spice broad beans, orchid broad beans and garlic-flavored broad beans. Broad bean products include five-spice broad beans, orchid beans, broad bean vermicelli (made from broad bean starch), strange-flavored broad beans, garlic-flavored broad beans, fennel beans, broad bean flour, broad bean paste, broad bean cold noodles, etc.

Orchid beans are a traditional Chinese snack, and the production method is:

1. It is best to choose new broad beans of the year, with full grains, uniform size, intact, and remove those with moldy black spots and other bad qualities. Wash them with water to remove impurities;

2. Put the broad bean skin into water to fully absorb water and expand. It takes about 1-2 hours for the dry broad beans to be soaked;

3. Rinse with clean water and peel off the black line part of the bean skin, which accounts for about 1/3 of the whole bean. If you are lazy, you can just cut a slit in the broad bean with a knife. Remove the broad beans that cannot be soaked, commonly known as "iron beans";

4. After draining all the water, fry it in a pan until the water evaporates completely;

5. To prevent it from burning, the bean curd should be prominent and slightly yellow in color. After taking it out, drain the oil and cool it. According to your taste, you can sprinkle some salt on it. It will taste crispy, crunchy and fragrant.
