Hazards of thermos glass liner

Hazards of thermos glass liner

Although many families now rarely use thermos with glass liner, they can still be seen in many schools, especially on university campuses. Taking a thermos to the water room to get hot water is a part of daily life and has very deep memories for many college students. There are some dangers in using a thermos, and if you are not careful you may get burned.

Thermos glass liner hazards

The outer surface of the liner is glass, not coated with any substance, and the coating is on the inner wall. Now, using more advanced technology, it is not silver that is coated, but aluminum compounds. The bottle is made of glass, just like a mirror. Those suspended solids are scale, don't worry. Just let it sit for a while. As long as the gallbladder is not ruptured, it cannot come into contact with water. Once it ruptures, it will no longer keep warm. That's where there will be problems. It doesn't mean that you can't drink the water if it's not insulated. The reason why it's not insulated is probably that the small button at the bottom of the gallbladder is broken, which releases the vacuum inside the gallbladder and causes it to not be insulated.

Thermos bottle only needs attention

1. When buying a thermos, don't be tempted by the cheap price. After all, hot water is a safety hazard to us. Pay attention to the quality certification mark. Generally, iron kettles are more durable than plastic kettles and have better heat preservation effects, but they may be a little heavier. The handle of an iron kettle is tight, so you can use tape to fix a circle of paper or cotton near the handle.

2. After purchasing it, be sure to rinse it several times to remove all the dirt from the new pot. Each time you draw water, pour out all the water in the kettle, then get some hot water, rinse the inner pot, then pour out this little water, and start drawing water again.

3. Be careful when fetching water, don't take it lightly, and make sure to hold the kettle steady.

4. Tighten the rotating device at the bottom of the kettle every now and then to prevent the inner pot from falling off or exploding.

5. Place the kettle in a safe place where family members and roommates do not pass by to avoid danger from bumps and collisions. If you accidentally get scalded, minor burns can be rinsed with tap water and then buy burn ointment.

6. If you find that the kettle makes abnormal noises over time, please replace the inner tank in time.
