How to remove chocolate stains?

1. Detergent removal method

When the garment is dry, apply a hand-wash detergent to the stain, completely covering it. Let it sit for 3-5 minutes, then rub gently and the chocolate stains will be cleaned. Put the whole piece of clothing into water, add detergent for normal washing, and finally rinse the clothes clean.

2. Dishwashing liquid

If chocolate gets on your clothes, the emergency method is to pick up the dirt with a wet cloth on the spot, and then wipe it with a paper towel dipped in cool or warm water. Use a towel dipped in detergent to scrub it and the chocolate marks will soon disappear.

3. Carbonated beverage infiltration

First, scrape off the chocolate that can be scraped off. Then soak the stained area with a colorless carbonated drink (Sprite, 7-Up), and rub it with your hands. It will be clean in 2 to 5 minutes.

4. Glycerin/Gasoline Wipe

Use glycerin or gasoline. The method of use is to first soak the stain with glycerin or gasoline until it is removed, and then immediately rinse it with clean water.

5. Carbon tetrachloride smear

If chocolate cannot wash off clothes, you can apply carbon tetrachloride to the area where the chocolate pigment has melted, leave it for a few minutes and then wash normally.

6. Soda water + enzyme laundry detergent

First scrape away any excess solid or caked-on stains, using a stain remover to soak the stain and residue to loosen. Then rinse with club soda to prevent the stain from setting. Then use enzyme laundry detergent to scrub the clothes.

7. Cleaning with dilute ammonia

Chocolate stains on clothing are generally soaked in a dilute ammonia solution made by mixing 1 part 10% ammonia with 10 parts water, and then wiped with a cotton ball dipped in the liquid until it is clean. If there are still residues after washing, which means it is not clean, you need to wipe it with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution and then rinse it with clean water until it is clean.
