General clinical symptoms: In the early stage of the lesion, there are hard, small papules protruding from the skin surface, which are grayish yellow, grayish white, yellowish brown or light yellow, with a rough and keratinized surface. The number is uncertain. At first there is usually only one, but later the number may increase to several or even dozens. As the disease progresses, the lesions may increase in size and become patchy.

For systemic treatment, Chinese medicine decoction can be taken orally, mainly for clearing away heat and detoxifying, or for regulating qi and activating blood circulation, softening and dispersing nodules, which are usually effective. Commonly used Chinese medicines include Isatis root, Isatis indigotica leaf, Portulaca oleracea, and Patrinia scabra for clearing away heat and detoxifying, Ligusticum chuanxiong, Red Peony Root, Peach Kernel, Safflower, Angelica sinensis, and Achyranthes bidentata for regulating qi and activating blood circulation, and Dragon Bone, Oyster, and Pangolin for softening and dispersing nodules. It can be taken orally and combined with external washing for better results.
