What causes capillary bleeding

What causes capillary bleeding

Capillary bleeding is a common type of kidney disease. It is caused by many factors. Although most patients can receive good results after regular treatment, about 15% of patients may develop uremia. We know that uremia has serious consequences and patients may even lose their precious lives. Therefore, it is very important to understand the causes of capillary bleeding and take targeted prevention measures. I hope everyone can pay enough attention to this. So, what exactly causes capillary bleeding? Let’s take a look at what the experts have to say.

Capillary hemorrhage generally refers to hemorrhagic capillary poisoning

Hemorrhagic capillary poisoning

Also known as allergic purpura, it is a capillary allergic disease that can cause kidney damage by affecting the glomerular capillaries and interstitial blood vessels, with symptoms such as edema, proteinuria, hematuria and abnormal renal function. This type of kidney disease is also called Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis. This disease is common in children and adolescents. The main mechanism of disease is that allergens (food, drugs, bacteria, viruses, toxins, etc.) cause the formation of immune complexes and their deposition in the kidneys, inducing immune damage and vascular complications. Half of the patients had a history of upper respiratory tract infection 1 to 3 weeks before the onset of illness.

Some have a clear history of allergies and may experience extra-renal manifestations such as fever, hemorrhagic purpura on the extensor side of the limbs, joint pain, and gastrointestinal symptoms (abdominal pain, bloody stools, and hematemesis). Kidney symptoms usually occur 2 to 4 days after the onset of purpura. In some patients, kidney symptoms may appear as the first symptom before skin, gastrointestinal, and joint symptoms. Most patients have a good prognosis, but about 10% to 20% may develop uremia.
