Babies are at high risk of hemangioma, which usually occurs when the baby is born and occurs in a wide range of locations. Hemangiomas can grow in subcutaneous tissue, facial skin, etc. There are many types of hemangiomas. No matter what type of hemangioma it is, it will not only affect personal image, but also physical health. During the treatment of hemangioma, you must maintain a good attitude and don't put too much pressure on yourself. Clinical manifestations 1. Capillary hemangioma Tumors are composed of large numbers of intertwined, dilated capillaries. It appears as bright red or purple patches. It is flush with the skin surface or slightly raised, with clear boundaries, irregular shapes and varying sizes. When the tumor is pressed with the fingers, the color fades; when the pressure is released, the color returns. 2. Cavernous hemangioma tumors are composed of enlarged vascular lumens and blood sinusoids lined with endothelial cells. The lesions are purple, dark red or bluish-red nodules or plaques of varying sizes. They are soft in texture, and the blood sinuses are of different sizes, like a sponge-like structure. The sinus cavities are filled with venous blood and communicate with each other. The surface is hemispherical or lobed, and its volume can be reduced by compression. Mostly single shot. Histopathology showed that the blood vessels in the lower dermis and subcutaneous tissue were enlarged into irregular cavities filled with blood. Hyperplasia of vascular adventitial cells. It presents as an asymptomatic, slow-growing soft mass. When the head is in a low position, the tumor expands due to congestion; when the body returns to normal position, the mass returns to its original shape. Superficial tumors have a bluish-purple appearance on the skin or mucous membrane. For deeper ones, the skin color is normal. The mass was soft, with unclear borders and no tenderness when palpated. The lump shrinks when squeezed and returns to its original size when the pressure is released. 3. Racemose hemangioma It is mainly formed by the anastomosis of dilated arteries and veins. The tumor is elevated and has a bead-like or earthworm-like shape. There is a pulsation and thrill on palpation, and a blowing murmur on auscultation. If all the blood supplying arteries are compressed and blocked, the above-mentioned pulsation and murmur will disappear. Causes The cause of this disease is unknown. Studies have shown that the use of progesterone or chorionic villus sampling during pregnancy, pregnancy-induced hypertension and low birth weight in infants may be related to the formation of hemangiomas. Some people believe that hemangiomas develop into hemangiomas due to small-scale misconfiguration of the controlling gene segments during human embryonic development, especially in the early stage of vascular tissue differentiation. This leads to abnormal tissue differentiation in specific areas and the formation of hemangiomas. In the early embryonic period (8 to 12 months), the embryonic tissue suffers mechanical damage, and local tissue bleeding causes some hematopoietic stem cells to be distributed to other embryonic cells, some of which differentiate into vascular-like tissue and eventually form hemangiomas. |
