Lumbar disc herniation is one of the more common diseases and it troubles many people. This is because the various parts of the lumbar disc (nucleus pulposus, annulus fibrosus and cartilage plate), especially the nucleus pulposus, have different degrees of degenerative changes. Under the influence of external factors, the annulus fibrosus of the disc ruptures.

Causes of lumbar lordosis:

The degeneration of the nucleus pulposus is mainly manifested by a decrease in water content, and may cause small-scale pathological changes such as vertebral instability and loosening due to water loss; the degeneration of the annulus fibrosus is mainly manifested by a decrease in toughness. Therefore, the symptoms of lumbar lordosis are caused, which has a great impact on patients.

Correction methods for lumbar lordosis:

1. Relax the muscles on the back of the lumbar spine

Kneel down, slowly crawl forward with your hands, sit your buttocks back and down, stretch your hands forward as far as possible, and sit your buttocks back and down as far as possible. You will feel the latissimus dorsi or lower lumbar muscles stretching. Stay in this position for 1 minute. This pose is called child's pose.

2. After completing the previous movement, remain in the kneeling position, take a big step forward with your left leg, keep your pelvis relatively stable, and push your pelvis forward. You will feel a stretch in the front of your right thigh and groin. Maintain this position for 40 seconds. After finishing the right side, do the left side. Pay attention to tighten your abdomen, otherwise you will not stretch it properly.

These two movements combined can correct some of the pelvic tilt and lumbar lordosis. We should also pay attention to keeping our posture intact at all times in our daily lives.
