What diseases can ciliates easily cause

Ciliates can easily cause intestinal dysfunction, spontaneous bacterial peritonitis, appendicitis and other diseases.

1. Intestinal dysfunction: When a person is infected with ciliates, he or she will experience symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and even bloody stools with mucus, pus, and blood. This will have an adverse effect on the digestion and absorption functions of the intestines, and may even lead to intestinal dysfunction, causing malnutrition in the patient. As the disease progresses, it may also cause intestinal perforation.

2. Spontaneous bacterial peritonitis: Ciliate infection is a chronic wasting disease. If it is not discovered and treated in time, it may develop into a chronic inflammation, causing damage to the surrounding tissues and organs, and even causing infection, expanding the area of inflammation. When the infection reaches the peritoneum, it will cause spontaneous bacterial peritonitis.

3. Appendicitis: Because there are many lymphocytes and lymph nodes on the wall of the appendix, which are immune organs of the human body, infection with Trichoderma can cause intestinal dysfunction and intestinal flora imbalance, which may trigger an attack of appendicitis.

After being infected with ciliates, you can take oral medications such as metronidazole, tetracycline, quinoline, and paromomycin for treatment. Generally, the symptoms will improve significantly in about 1 to 2 days.

During the recovery period, pay attention to eating light and easy-to-digest food. In addition, pay attention to food hygiene.
