How to clean the grease in the oven

The oven is a common kitchen appliance. People often use the oven to make cakes, bread, and some barbecued food. Therefore, there will often be some grease in the oven. At this time, it should be removed in time to avoid the breeding of bacteria and avoid affecting the taste of the dishes. The cleaning method is relatively simple. After the oven cools down naturally, you can clean it carefully with a detergent rag. Pay attention to clean the corners of the oven carefully.

How to clean grease in the oven

1. Wait for cooling when cleaning

Cleaning must be done when the power is off and the machine is partially cooled! When baking meat in a home oven, the inner wall of the oven, the oven door, the baking tray, and the grill are often splashed with oil. The easiest way is to wipe them with a damp cloth after they have cooled down a little. But if it is not cleaned in time, thick oil stains will accumulate over time and will be difficult to wash off.

2. Use water to clean the inner wall of the oven

The oven will become pitch black after being used for a long time, and the most troublesome thing is cleaning. Don’t worry, just put a bowl of water in the oven and set the temperature to 90 degrees. After 15 minutes, use a grease-softened rag and detergent to wipe it dry!

3. Some parts require special treatment

The burner (heating tube) inside the oven and the protective cover outside the heating tube must be wiped gently with a dry cloth. Do not wipe them with an overly wet cloth to avoid affecting the insulation of the burner and causing leakage and short circuit. Please note that except for the removable parts, nothing in the oven can be washed directly with water.

4. Remove odor

Method 1: Put a bowl of lemon water or 1:1 white vinegar water, open the container and dry bake it at about 100 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes, and the smell will be removed.

Method 2: After the baking tray has cooled down, pour 50 ml of warm water and a small amount of detergent into the baking tray, cover the baking tray lid and plug in the plug, adjust the time knob to 10 minutes, and the hot air circulation can automatically clean the dirt in the baking tray. Unplug the plug and wait for the baking tray to cool down, then rinse the baking tray with warm water.

Method 3: Wrap meat dishes that may splash hot oil during the baking process with tin foil. This not only ensures that the outside is crispy and the inside is tender, but also avoids making the oven greasy.
