Small red pimples on face

It is normal to have acne on the face. Acne can be divided into different types with different causes. You can judge based on factors such as the color and location of the acne, and then determine effective coping methods. Small red pimples on the face may be caused by acne infection. We must have a comprehensive understanding of this situation and handle it correctly to avoid causing greater impact as much as possible.

There are many small red pimples on my face, which are caused by secondary infection of acne.

Acne, also known as pimples, blackheads, and acne, is caused by excessive secretion of androgen in the body during puberty. It is a normal phenomenon during puberty and usually disappears slowly after the end of puberty.

During adolescence, due to the high level of androgen in the body, the sebaceous glands secrete vigorously, which increases the oil content of the skin. The increased oil content of the skin will clog the pores, causing the secretions in the hair follicles to be unable to be discharged smoothly, forming fat particles, which is acne.

If you have acne, do not squeeze it with your hands or prick it with a needle, because squeezing it with your hands or prick it with a needle will squeeze out the fat particles in the acne, and after the fat particles are squeezed out, a small hole will be left behind. After the small hole heals, it will leave a scar. When squeezing or pricking pimples with your hands, it is easy to bring bacteria on your hands, needles and in the air into the pimples, causing secondary infection of the pimples. After the pimples are infected, the pimples will become red, painful, swollen and hot. You can use erythromycin ointment or mupirocin ointment for local application, but people who are allergic to penicillin should not use mupirocin ointment. If the infection is severe, antibiotics may be taken orally or injected for systemic anti-inflammatory treatment.

When there is no secondary infection in acne, you can use sulfur soap to clean the skin. Because sulfur soap is alkaline, and skin oil is acidic, using alkaline sulfur soap can neutralize the acidic skin oil.

You can apply acne ointment on the areas where acne occurs. After application, the acne will gradually disappear.
