In winter, the climate is relatively cold. In the north, almost every household has installed heaters. Heating mainly makes the indoor air warm through heat transfer. However, the climate is dry in winter. Especially under the high temperature heat transfer of heaters, the moisture in the air will evaporate, making the air drier. At this time, many people will make a humidifier on the radiator. So, how to make a homemade radiator humidifier? Being too hot and dry indoors can have an impact on the skin and respiratory tract, especially for the elderly and children. Let’s get straight to the point and get moving. First option: Cut off the closed part of the discarded mineral water bottle to leave the tube with the bottom, then flatten the bottom of the bottle and stuff it into the gap between the radiators. Use an uncut mineral water bottle to add water. Next, cut a long towel into strips and wet it (the width should be similar to the diameter of the mineral water bottle). Stuff one end into the bottle and use the other end to fix it above the radiator with needle and thread. Use one towel strip for each empty bottle on the radiator. Second option: Hang an empty bottle of Mirinda on the wall and put a towel on the radiator. Give the towel an IV. Use one bottle of water a day and a night. The best water speed is when the towel is wet but not dripping. For the IV tube, cut off the thinnest part where the needle is connected, and also cut off the hard head at the connection between the thick and thin parts. There is a mesh inside that is easy to get clogged, so just leave the thickest part of the tube. In the minds of consumers, humidifiers are used to humidify and purify the air. No one has ever thought that humidifiers can also create pollution. Therefore, even if someone uses a humidifier and becomes ill or suffers from air pollution, it will not be associated with the humidifier. This is also the main reason why there are very few complaints about humidifiers in this regard. A humidifier quality spot check report released by the Shanghai Quality Supervision Bureau stated that this supervision and spot check was based on national standards such as "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances Part 1: General Requirements" and "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances Particular Requirements for Humidifiers" and related product standards. The following items of the product were inspected: marking and instructions, protection against touching live parts, input power and current, heat generation, leakage current and electrical strength at operating temperature, moisture resistance (leakage current and electrical strength), abnormal operation, stability and mechanical hazards, mechanical strength, structure, internal wiring, power connection and external soft wire, terminal blocks for external wires, grounding measures, screws and connections, electrical clearance, creepage distance and solid insulation, heat resistance and flame resistance. Although many quality problems were found in this random inspection, whether the humidifier would pollute the environment was not within the scope of the inspection. Relevant personnel from the Jiangsu Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau stated that it is normal for such a situation to occur. Under normal circumstances, spot checks on product quality issues mainly focus on hardware. There are currently no relevant regulations on whether humidifiers cause pollution, but there will definitely be statements on this in the future. Humidifier Buying Guide: In many hospitals, there are not many cases of illness due to the use of humidifiers in their daily patient consultations. However, this does not mean that there are no problems with humidifiers. The key is that people do not pay attention to such problems. Because the current living environment leads to many similar cases, it is not fair to put all the blame on the humidifier. Sometimes humidifiers can indeed purify and humidify the air. Consumers should try to choose humidifiers with adjustable humidification mist volume and use bottled purified water available on the market, so as to eliminate the "white powder" phenomenon. |
