They conducted a tumor inhibition experiment comparing the original venom and isolated venom of the pit viper from Snake Island. Nine different concentrations of snake venom had varying degrees of inhibitory effects on mouse sarcoma, with some tumor inhibition rates as high as 87.1%. In the future, snake venom may be the most ideal drug for treating cancer.

Snake venom has anticoagulant effect

The "defibrase" proposed by the Yunnan Institute of Zoology in my country in the five-step snake has passed technical identification many years ago. It has been used to treat 333 cases of vascular thrombosis, including 242 cases of cerebral thrombosis, with an effective rate of 86.4%. Because snake venom analgesics have higher analgesic activity and are non-addictive, they are clinically used to replace morphine in the treatment of pain in the late stage of cancer.
