What is the difference between fertilized eggs and unfertilized eggs

There is a certain difference between fertilized eggs and unfertilized eggs. Simply put, fertilized eggs can hatch chicks, while unfertilized eggs are only a part of chicken eggs. They are also relatively easy to distinguish. For example, if there is sunlight, you can find out whether it is a fertilized egg. Of course, there is no difference in nutritional effects between the two types of eggs. As long as the eggs are not rotten, they can be eaten.

Unfertilized eggs :

The part of the egg often called the "yolk" is actually just one cell, the female reproductive cell or ovum. The yolk is mostly nutrients, while the nucleus and most of the cytoplasm are concentrated into an irregular small white dot, floating on the yolk and below the yolk membrane. This kind of egg cannot develop after hatching and is called an unfertilized egg.

Fertilized eggs :

The chicken egg is fertilized when it meets the sperm in the funnel part of the oviduct. The fertilized egg continues to divide while it stays in the mother's body, and by the time the egg is laid outside the body, it has divided into a mass of cells, which is the blastocyst stage of embryonic development. Viewed from the front, the blastocyst looks like a disc covering the surface of the yolk, with a bright area in the center and dark areas at the edge, which is usually called the embryonic disc.

As for whether fertilized eggs can be eaten, as long as you make sure the eggs are not rotten, they can be eaten. But please note that the eggs must be cooked before eating, otherwise they may contain some germs that can easily cause abdominal pain, diarrhea and other diseases.
