Wear loose clothes When gout attacks, the joints become painful and swollen, and wearing a pair of shoes will only make things worse. If the weather is cold, you can wear socks, but don't make them too tight. 4. Distract Your Attention Some friends just lie down and don't move when gout attacks. We all understand this kind of pain. So when gout attacks, try to divert your attention by watching a movie or talking more. 5.
