Slurred speech, difficulty swallowing, weak cough, long and clear urination, sexual dysfunction or menstrual disorders. The tongue is tender, pale and plump, the tongue coating is thin white, and the pulse is deep and fine.

Treatment method: Nourish the spleen and kidneys, strengthen muscles and increase strength.

Prescription: Yougui Jiuhe Buzhong Yiqi Decoction with modifications.

Liver and kidney yin deficiency

Main symptoms: fasciculations, muscle atrophy and flesh loss, loss of large flesh, and emaciation. The muscles and bones become stiff, the movements become weaker, and even walking becomes impossible. Constipation. The tongue is red, soft, thin and emaciated. There is little tongue coating and the pulse is fine and rapid.
