Morphoguanidine hydrochloride is a common antiviral drug, also known as Virulin. Its main ingredient is Morphoguanidine hydrochloride. 1. Indications

Used for the prevention and treatment of influenza, mumps, chickenpox, herpes, etc.

Eye drops can be used to prevent and treat follicular conjunctivitis.

2. Dosage and Usage

Adults: (1) Oral administration: ① Morphoguanidine tablets: 0.1-0.2 g each time, 3 times a day, after meals; ② Compound Morphoguanidine tablets: 2 tablets each time, 3 times a day; ③ Syrup: same as Morphoguanidine tablets. (2) Ocular administration: once every 1 to 2 hours.

Oral administration for children: 10-20 mg/kg per day, divided into 3 doses.

3. Adverse reactions

There may be gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, as well as allergic rashes and itching. Some may cause sweating, hypoglycemia and other reactions.
