What if you don’t have a bottle opener? Learn these simple ways to open red wine

We often drink red wine in our daily lives, but the red wine sold outside is usually already opened and can be drunk directly by pouring it into the glass. The fresh red wine purchased directly from the market is unopened, and opening red wine becomes a very complicated issue. Without a professional corkscrew, it is difficult to completely pull out the cork of a bottle of red wine. Even if it is pulled out, it may take a lot of effort. In fact, a corkscrew is not necessarily required to open red wine, and other methods can also be used.

Open wine bottles easily.

1. Towel bottle opening method

1. Wrap a towel around the bottom of the wine bottle.

2. Place the bottom of the bottle against the wall, keep the bottle body vertical to the wall, and hit the bottom of the bottle evenly and forcefully, and the cork will slowly be pushed out.

3. Once the cork is partially pushed out, you can pull it out with your hands or pliers.

1. Nail part of the screw into the cork and leave the other part outside.

3. Bottle opening with a knife

1. Use a fruit knife or a serrated knife (note: the blade should not be too wide or too narrow, it should just be able to penetrate the cork without cutting the edge of the cork).

2. Insert the blade into the center of the cork, trying to avoid cutting the edges. Hold the bottleneck with one hand and slowly turn the handle to drive the cork to turn together; do not use too much force when turning. Then slowly lift the knife handle upwards and slowly pull out the cork.
