What are scabies nodules

What are scabies nodules

Scabies nodules are not common in daily life. They mainly refer to the seriousness of the disease scabies, which causes red nodules to appear on delicate parts of the skin. These nodules often appear as skin lesions the size of soybeans or mung beans, with a relatively hard texture. They are especially prone to occur in the private parts of men and women, and often cause symptoms such as itching.

Causes

Scabies is a contact-transmitted skin infectious disease caused by scabies mites parasitizing in the human epidermis.

Scabies is a skin disease transmitted by the mite Sarcoptes scabiei through direct contact, including sexual contact. Scabies mites can survive for 2-3 days after leaving the human body and can be transmitted indirectly through the patient's clothing. The disease is transmitted from one person to another within a family or collective unit, and many people are infected one after another.

Treatment principles

The purpose of treatment is to kill insects, relieve itching, and treat complications. Strive for early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment. Patients in parent or group units are treated simultaneously.

1. Apply sulfur ointment all over the body below the neck, regardless of whether there are symptoms or not. Apply more in areas with severe scabies nodules.

2.1% γ-666 cream or ointment.

3.10%~25% benzyl benzoate solution or emulsion.

The treatment of scabies nodules must be thorough and once-in-one. You can use tar gel externally, apply it to the affected area every night for 2 to 3 weeks; inject triamcinolone acetonide, compound betamethasone injection, etc. into the skin lesions; freeze with liquid nitrogen; apply triamcinolone acetonide and neomycin ointment topically, etc.
