What are the symptoms of an anal infection?

There are many types of anal infections, and the symptoms of each case are different. No matter what kind of infection it is, there will definitely be pain, and it may also be accompanied by symptoms such as redness, swelling, fever, suppuration, and a feeling of abdominal heaviness.

1. Perianal subcutaneous abscess: mainly pain, initial pain, throbbing pain when purulent, pain aggravated by defecation, abscess, urinary retention may occur in front of the anus, abscess behind the anus causes tail pain. The symptoms of systemic poisoning are mild, with local swelling, redness, tenderness, and wave movement.

2. Patients with ischiorectal abscess: symptoms of systemic poisoning such as general fatigue, fever, chills, and increased body temperature. Local symptoms include redness, swelling, tenderness, burning, excruciating pain on one side of the anus, which worsens with activity and defecation, and difficulty urinating.

3. Systemic symptoms of rectal abscess patients : First, fever, chills, fatigue, and severe symptoms of infection and poisoning. Local symptoms are mild, with only a feeling of rectal prolapse, pain or discomfort, or difficulty urinating.

4. Retrorectal abscess: The systemic symptoms are similar to those of rectal abscess. The local symptoms are mainly soreness, swelling and heaviness in the coccyx, radiating to the back and both thighs. There is tenderness in the coccyx and the patient cannot sit.

5. Patients with rectal submucosal abscess : general malaise, fatigue, and fever. Local rectal irritation symptoms include falling, sinking, acting up or meaning.

6. Tuberculous anorectal abscess : with bacterial infection, patients often have chronic diseases, abscesses are formed a few weeks to months ago, local pain, accompanied by fever, local swelling is not obvious.
