What are the causes of osteoarthritis?

What are the causes of osteoarthritis?

Osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease caused by degeneration of articular cartilage or joint hyperplasia. It is common in the elderly. The main symptoms are joint pain, friction or crackling during exercise. Joint pain usually occurs in the morning. The pain will be relieved after proper activity, but if the amount of exercise is too much, the pain will increase. The following are the causes of osteoarthritis.

1. The body is overworked and does not get enough rest.

Many manual laborers have to work nearly 10 hours a day. The strong work pressure plus the accumulated physical burden over the years will lead to arthritis. When symptoms such as joint pain, redness and swelling appear, they just buy long-lasting plasters to temporarily deal with the pain, which aggravates the arthritis.

2. Inflammation of the joints.

Many people have weak immunity, and bacteria take advantage of the opportunity to invade the joints and cause inflammation. The affected area will become red, swollen, burning, and painful. If not treated in time, it can lead to other complications and cause irreparable damage.

3. Keep the joints cold for a long time.

Many arthritis patients usually develop the disease in cold weather. When the joints of the human body are stimulated by factors such as cold, the blood flow in the joints and their surrounding areas will slow down, increasing the resistance to joint movement, resulting in symptoms such as joint swelling and pain.

4. Trauma

Trauma can also lead to the onset of arthritis. The joints of the human body are like a machine. Years of use will cause joint wear. If trauma occurs again, such as fractures, bone cracks, etc., it will often cause arthritis. Therefore, people must pay attention to their own safety and health in normal times and protect themselves from trauma.

The initiation of arthritis is also related to decreased autoimmunity and metabolic disorders. No matter what, you must take good care of your body and avoid overworking yourself. You should make sure to get more rest and strengthen your nutritional supplements. In addition, you must do more physical exercise when you have time to enhance your immunity so as to prevent arthritis from finding you.
