Acne is a common symptom during adolescence. In fact, you don’t need to worry too much about this symptom. Just eat a light diet, drink plenty of water, and pay attention to skin cleanliness. Bloodletting therapy is actually mainly used to treat acne caused by heat diseases. 1. Indications Bloodletting therapy is suitable for patients with febrile diseases and strong constitutions. Such as plague, fluctuating fever, diffuse fever, furuncle, erysipelas, jaundice, leprosy, sores, etc. However, there are some diseases that are not suitable for bloodletting therapy, such as cold diseases like edema, stomach indigestion due to insufficient stomach fire, lung disease and Bacon's disease. It is also contraindicated for pregnant women, the weak, postpartum women, children, and the elderly over 70 years old. 2. Timing of bloodletting Depending on the condition and type of disease, treatment can be roughly divided into three different times: early, middle and late stages. In the early stages of febrile diseases, bloodletting should be performed promptly when the fever symptoms first appear and the heat is intense. For some diseases, in the middle stage of the disease, when the chills have just stopped and the body has just started to feel numb and heavy, blood should be pricked in time to release the bad blood to prevent the heat from spreading and becoming difficult to control. During the course of blood disease and Chiba disease, the diseased blood has spread in the meridians, or due to improper diet, there is residual heat that has not been eliminated and has spread in the meridians. Although it is in the late stage, bloodletting can be used for treatment. 3. Bloodletting Process It is divided into the steps of taking the pulse, inserting the knife, observing the blood, and understanding the amount of bleeding. The so-called pulse-beating method is to try to make the blood flow vigorous. This requires taking some medicine such as Sanguo Decoction (consisting of Terminalia chebula, Terminalia chebula, and Phyllanthus emblica) three days before bloodletting. The purpose is to separate the diseased blood from the good blood. The body should be warmed before bloodletting, and when the blood flow is smooth, the area above the bleeding site should be tied with a flat thin rope. The acupuncture points for bloodletting are fixed, and vital parts and lifelines should be avoided. Tibetan doctors are treating patients IV. Precautions (1) This method is prohibited for pregnant women, postpartum women, children under 12 years old, and people over 70 years old. (2) It is forbidden for patients with weak stomach fire, vomiting, and diarrhea. (3) Strictly control the amount of blood letting. When all the diseased blood is let out and the blood turns to normal color, stop bleeding immediately. (iv) If the blood foam is covered with red blood skin, stop bleeding. |
