What are the symptoms of mumps?

1. 2. Mumps: mostly occurs in children aged 5 to 15 years old. It often occurs in both parotid glands at the same time or successively. The parotid glands are swollen, congested, and painful, but the duct opening is not red or swollen, and the saliva is clear without pus.

3. Chronic recurrent parotitis: repeated swelling of the parotid gland, mild edema, flushing of the skin, and pus or jelly-like liquid at the duct opening when the gland is squeezed

4. Chronic obstructive parotitis: It is caused by bites on the mucosa of the parotid duct opening, which leads to stenosis of the duct opening after the scar heals, or by duct stones. The swelling occurs every time I eat, and sometimes when I wake up in the morning the parotid area is swollen, and after a little self-massage a salty liquid comes out.
