Dysuria is a common sexual disease that can occur in anyone, but it is most common in middle-aged and elderly men. Common symptoms include abnormal urination, abnormal urine, and low back pain. From a clinical perspective, some patients may also show symptoms such as frequent urination and urgency. In order to effectively treat the disease, the cause must be identified. (1) Abnormal urination . Common urination abnormalities caused by urinary tract infection are frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating. Urinary incontinence and urinary retention may also occur. In the early stage of chronic renal failure caused by chronic pyelonephritis, there may be polyuria, and in the later stage, there may be oliguria or anuria. (2) Abnormal urine. Urinary tract infection can cause abnormal changes in urine. Common symptoms of painful urination include bacteriuria, pyuria, hematuria and pneumaturia. (3) Low back pain . Low back pain is a common clinical symptom, and kidney and perirenal diseases are one of the common causes of low back pain. When the renal capsule, renal pelvis, and ureter are irritated or the tension increases, it can cause pain in the lower back. Lower urinary tract infection generally does not cause lower back pain. Inflammation of the kidney and surrounding areas, such as renal abscess, perinephritis, perirenal abscess, and acute pyelonephritis, often causes persistent and severe pain in the lower back. The low back pain caused by chronic pyelonephritis is often soreness. Frequent urination, urgent urination and painful urination are the main symptoms of urinary tract infection. Clinically, we usually call frequent urination, urgent urination and painful urination urinary tract irritation signs. Most patients with dysuria will experience urinary tract irritation symptoms, but not all urinary tract irritation symptoms mean urinary tract infection. In fact, among patients with symptoms of frequent urination, urgency and pain when urinating, only some have urinary tract infection. The causes of frequent urination, urgency and pain during urination have been analyzed in detail above. There are many reasons for this. In addition to urinary tract infection, there are many other factors. Therefore, when patients experience frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating, they should consider the issue from multiple angles and actively look for the cause. Symptoms of painful urination can first be treated by multiple midstream urine bacterial cultures. If the urine colony count is ≥105/ml at one of the cultures, a diagnosis of urinary tract infection can be established. If the midstream urine bacterial culture is negative, further investigation should be conducted to find other causes of urinary tract irritation symptoms, such as stones, tuberculosis, tumors, and acute urethral syndrome caused by various reasons. |
