Many reproductive diseases and urinary system diseases, such as nonspecific urethritis, chronic urethritis, gonococcal urethritis, etc., may cause clear mucus to flow from the urethra. Patients should be examined as soon as possible and receive timely treatment after diagnosis.

First, non-specific urethritis symptoms: In the early stage of the disease, the urethral opening is red, swollen, itchy, and slightly stinging, followed by purulent discharge from the urethral opening, which gradually worsens. Second, symptoms of chronic urethritis: less secretion, mild symptoms, some patients may be asymptomatic, or only a small amount of serous secretion can be seen near the urethra during the first urination in the morning. The urination irritation symptoms are not as significant as those in the acute phase, with mild tingling, burning, itching or ant-like sensations, etc.

Third, symptoms of gonococcal urethritis: urethral mucous secretions gradually increase and overflow from the urethral orifice. After a few days of infection, gonococci invade the entire anterior urethra, and pus flows to the urethral orifice and overflows. You can squeeze the pus or mucus from the base of the penis to the urethral orifice with your hands.
