For example, vitamin A is a good medicine for preventing and treating night blindness, but if taken in large quantities for a long time, it will cause poisoning symptoms such as dry or falling hair, loss of appetite, pain in the limbs, headache, nausea and vomiting.

Vitamin C is used to treat scurvy, and can also be used to prevent colds, care for the elderly, etc. However, after taking large doses, oxalate stones are easily formed in the kidneys; in the gastrointestinal tract, it can cause nausea and abdominal pain; when used with many other drugs, it will also affect the efficacy of other drugs.

As for vitamin E, which is currently recognized to have anti-aging effects, taking large amounts can also cause thrombophlebitis and damage to the lens of the eye; it can also affect the bactericidal ability of human white blood cells, and have a certain impact on endocrine, cardiovascular, and blood sugar.
