What causes facial muscle pain?

2. Joint structure disorder: This is the most common type of joint disorder syndrome. It is a disorder of the normal structure between the articular disc, condyle and fossa. 3. Facial pain is usually caused by local tissue infection or inflammation. Some are dull throbbing pains, while others are severe stabbing pains, and the symptoms they present are different. 4. Trigeminal neuritis: This type of pain will develop along the trigeminal nerve in the cheeks, and the pain is generally more severe. Trigeminal neuralgia is sudden, severe facial pain. It can be caused by non-painful stimulation (such as brushing teeth, eating, touching the cheek, etc.). The pain nerves in the face can be divided into the upper branch (ophthalmic branch), the middle branch (maxillary branch) and the lower branch (mandibular branch), and the middle and lower branches are most easily affected. This disease is common in female patients and is more common on the right side of the face.
