Side effects of ambroxol

Side effects of ambroxol

All medicines have advantages and disadvantages, effects and precautions. Therefore, when taking medicines, it is not only necessary to understand the simple effects and functions of the medicines, but also the adverse reactions and related contraindications of the medicines themselves. Some individuals may have allergic reactions after taking ambroxol, and the common allergic reactions are nausea, vomiting or a burning sensation in the stomach. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding need to be careful when taking the medicine.

Adverse Reactions

Ambroxol hydrochloride and glucose injection is generally well tolerated, with mild upper gastrointestinal side effects (mainly heartburn, indigestion, and occasional nausea and vomiting). Allergic reactions rarely occur, mainly rash. Severe acute allergic reactions occur in very rare cases, but their relevance to ambroxol hydrochloride is not certain. Some of these patients are usually allergic to other substances.
