There are so many types of stomach diseases

Gastric disease is a relatively common disease among the modern population, but most people do not know very well what types of gastric disease there are. In fact, there are four types of stomach diseases, namely chronic gastritis, acute simple gastritis, acute suppurative gastritis and non-ulcer dyspepsia.

Chronic gastritis

Chronic gastritis is a common and frequently occurring disease, which is more common in young and middle-aged people aged 31 to 50 years old. Males are more likely to be affected than females. Typical symptoms include upper abdominal pain, belching, abdominal distension, loss of appetite, indigestion, nausea and vomiting, and repeated bleeding. Chronic gastritis is very harmful and can cause lesions in the stomach itself and lead to other diseases, weakening the patient's constitution and reducing their quality of life.

Acute simple gastritis

Acute gastritis is clinically divided into four major categories, including acute corrosive gastritis, acute erosive gastritis, acute simple gastritis, and acute suppurative gastritis. Among them, acute simple gastritis and acute erosive gastritis are the most common and clinically common diseases. Typical manifestations include abdominal cramps, diarrhea, nausea, loss of appetite, fever, dehydration, and bloody stools. In severe cases, symptoms such as vomiting blood, shock, and acidosis may also occur. Symptoms are worse after eating spicy foods or drinking large amounts of alcohol. Symptoms are relieved by taking pain relievers and adjusting your diet.

Acute suppurative gastritis

Acute suppurative gastritis, also known as acute cellulitis gastritis, is caused by damage to the gastric mucosa due to gastric ulcer, chronic gastritis, etc., which invades the stomach wall and causes acute upper abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, etc. If pus and blood are vomited and blood is in the stool, it indicates that the condition is more serious and death may occur within a few hours. Treatment should be sought early. During treatment, diet should be adjusted to prevent the disease from turning into chronic gastritis.

Non-ulcer dyspepsia

Non-ulcer dyspepsia is a functional gastric disease with an incidence rate as high as 10%. Clinical manifestations include upper abdominal pain, acid reflux, nausea and vomiting, and persistent hiccups. The complication is irritable bowel syndrome. Clinical examinations include B-ultrasound examination and upper gastrointestinal tract barium angiography. Treatment should focus on dietary adjustments and pain medication.

I believe everyone already knows what types of stomach diseases there are. If you have any related questions, please feel free to consult a doctor in a professional hospital. The doctor will tell you the answer based on years of clinical experience. I wish the patient a speedy recovery and cure of the disease.
