What are the symptoms of meridian blockage?

Meridian blockage is very common in Chinese medicine, but many people are not clear about the symptoms of meridian blockage. There are many reasons for meridian blockage, such as the symptoms of gallbladder meridian and liver meridian blockage. Patients with blocked meridians may also experience symptoms such as cold hands and feet or abnormal body fever.

1. Common symptoms of gallbladder meridian obstruction:

Dry mouth, bitter taste in the mouth, migraine, easy to be startled and panic; sighing, loose stools, constipation, sallow skin; indigestion, joint pain, lipoma; accumulation of phlegm and nodules.

2. Common symptoms of liver meridian obstruction:

Dry mouth, bitter taste in the mouth, depression, chest and flank pain; dizziness, unstable blood pressure, irritability and impulsivity; sallow skin, fatigue, weakness, enlarged prostate; irregular menstruation, breast disease, and yellow urine.

3. Cold:

Cold is a very common symptom. The most common one is cold hands and feet, which may be a signal of blocked meridians, because the human body's temperature is determined by the transport of Qi and blood. Only when we have sufficient Qi and blood, our body temperature will be normal. If we feel cold, it means that our meridians may be blocked. In addition, some people with blocked meridians may have half of their body temperature be normal and the other half be cold. If a certain part of our body is cold, we can properly clear the meridians, and I believe the cold situation will change!

4. Heat:

In addition to coldness, abnormal fever may also be a manifestation of meridian blockage. If we have low fever, dryness or abnormal sweating in certain parts of our body, it is very likely caused by meridian blockage, because the heat cannot be transported and accumulates together. We also need to note that Qi and blood circulate in the body. If they encounter a meridian blockage, they will choose to circulate in the nearby meridians, which may affect the fever of the meridians. To give a simple example, if we have a low fever in the head, it may not be a problem with the bladder meridian, but it may also be caused by insufficient or blocked Qi and blood in the kidney meridian!
