What are the tips? He introduced some tips for cleaning oil stains on clothes, hoping to be able to help all friends in this regard.

Our clothes are often stained with oil. Some of the oil stains can be wiped off directly, while some are almost impossible to remove due to the different fabrics. There are special degreasing detergents for removing grease, such as laundry detergent and degreasing agent, but today I will introduce to you that toothpaste can also remove grease.

Many times, we cannot clean greasy clothes with water, and we have to use a dry cleaning machine to wash them because grease is insoluble in water. "There are two types of oil stains: animal oil and vegetable oil. Basically, the ones we encounter more often are animal and vegetable oils.

There are two most commonly used methods for removing animal and vegetable oils. One is to use alkaline substances to undergo saponification reaction with oil stains, turning the oil stains into water-soluble saponified products for removal; the other is to use surfactants, which have both hydrophilic polar groups and lipophilic non-polar groups in their molecules, which can greatly reduce the surface tension of water and the interfacial tension of the liquid, thereby achieving the effect of degreasing.

The reason why toothpaste can remove grease is that its main ingredient is surfactant, which can reduce the surface tension of the aqueous solution, causing the oil film covering the surface of the fabric to shrink into small particles, and then use friction and the impact of water flow to separate the small oil droplets from the fabric surface, thereby achieving the purpose of removing grease.

When we eat, we often accidentally get oil stains on our clothes, and it is difficult to remove oil stains from clothes. There are some detergents that can remove oil stains, but the effect is not obvious. Toothpaste is a good way to remove oil stains. After soaking the clothes, apply toothpaste to the oily areas. Rub them repeatedly and then add detergent or soap to remove the oil stains.
