What is the normal range of heart rate during exercise

Heart rate is actually the number of times the heart beats. As we all know, when people finish an exercise or run, their heartbeats will be particularly fast. In fact, these conditions are normal. Although an accelerated heartbeat is normal, there is also a normal range of heart rate during exercise. If the heartbeat is beyond the normal range, it means there may be a problem with the heart. It is recommended that you go to the hospital for a check-up.

A reasonable exercise load that can strengthen the body is between 65% and 85% of one's maximum exercise heart rate. It is also called target heart rate or target heart rate (refers to the heart rate that can achieve exercise effect and ensure safety). The calculation method is:

Maximum exercise heart rate = 220 - age

The upper limit of reasonable exercise load heart rate = maximum exercise heart rate multiplied by 85%

The lower limit of reasonable exercise load heart rate = maximum exercise heart rate multiplied by 65%

For example, for a 40-year-old person, his maximum exercise heart rate is 220 ~ 40 = 180 times/minute. So, the reasonable exercise load heart rate is:

The upper limit should be 180 x 85% = 153 (times/minute)

The lower limit should be 180 x 65% = 117 (times/minute)

That is to say, when the heart rate during exercise is between 117 and 153 beats per minute, the exercise load is reasonable. If it is higher or lower than this range, you should reduce or increase the exercise load appropriately and adjust the exercise heart rate to this range.

Normal people usually have a heart rate of about 70 beats per minute when they are at rest, and children have a relatively higher heart rate. Athletes have a lower heart rate. When I was an athlete, my heart rate was about 58 beats per minute, and now it is 70 beats per minute. World-class athletes can have a heart rate of 46 beats per minute.

People's heart rate is different when they are resting and when they are exercising, so when the heart rate exceeds the normal range of exercise heart rate, you should pay special attention. To see if there is any problem with the heart, you can consult a doctor. At this time, do not do any strenuous or dangerous exercise for the time being, and make sure to rest regularly.
