When cracks appear on the bottom of the kettle or a "bang" sound is heard from the bottom of the kettle, remove the kettle and quickly pour in cold water. Or wrap the handle and spout with a rag, hold it with both hands, and quickly place the dried kettle in cold water (do not let water pour into the kettle). Repeat 2 to 3 times and the scale on the bottom of the pot will fall off due to thermal expansion and contraction.

5. Use vinegar to remove scale. If there is scale in the kettle, put a few spoons of vinegar into the water and boil it for an hour or two, and the scale will be removed. If the main component of scale is calcium sulfate, you can pour pure alkaline solution into the kettle and boil it to remove the scale.

6. The mask prevents scale accumulation. Put a clean mask in the kettle, and the scale will be absorbed by the mask when the water is boiling.
