10 ways to massage your ears to strengthen your kidneys and keep fit

Each organ and tissue of the human body has a corresponding stimulation point on the auricle. Once an organ or tissue becomes diseased, a specific part of the ear (called an "acupoint" in traditional Chinese medicine) will produce certain changes and reactions. Therefore, when a certain ear point is stimulated, diseases in the corresponding part of the body can be diagnosed and treated.

Some experienced medical experts can also assist in diagnosing diseases by observing changes in the color depth of the ear skin, the presence of bumps, deformations, nodules or desquamation, and whether the capillaries are full. Therefore, massaging the ears regularly can strengthen the kidneys and waist, enhance hearing, clear the brain and refresh the mind, and nourish the body and prolong life. There are several specific methods of molar:

1. Lift the tragus

Place the fingers of both hands together on the inside of the tragus, and then use your index finger and thumb to pull up the tragus from the inside to the outside. The technique should be from light to heavy, and the pulling force should be limited to a level that does not cause pain. 3-5 minutes each time. This method can treat headaches, dizziness, neurasthenia, tinnitus and other diseases.

2. Sweep the outer ear

Use both hands to sweep your ears from back to front, and you will hear a "rubbing" sound. 20 times each time, several times a day. As long as you persist for a long time, you will be able to strengthen your kidneys and keep fit.

3. Pull out both ears

Stretch out both index fingers and insert them into the two ear holes respectively. Rotate 180 degrees. Repeat 3 times and then immediately remove them. You will hear a "popping" sound in the ears. Generally, this should be repeated 3-6 times. This method can make your hearing more sensitive and has the effect of strengthening your brain.

4. Ming Tian Gu

Place both palms tightly against the ears, cover the ear holes tightly with the palms, and secure them with the thumb and little finger. Use the other three fingers together or alternately to tap the occipital area behind the head, namely the Naohou, Fengfu, and Yamen acupoints, and you will hear a "dong dong" sound in the ears like beating a drum. This method has the effect of refreshing the brain, calming dizziness and improving hearing. It can not only be used as a daily health care method, but also has a good effect on common diseases such as tinnitus, dizziness, insomnia, headache, neurasthenia, etc. among middle-aged and elderly people.

5. Ear wheel

Place your index finger on the inner layer of the auricle and your thumb on the outer layer of the auricle, kneading them regardless of the height. If you find pain points or uncomfortable knots, it means the corresponding organs or limbs may be diseased, and moderate kneading can cure the disease. Over time, the disappearance of pain points indicates that local lesions have improved. This method can be repeated a number of times, and can be performed for 2 to 5 minutes until the ears feel warm. The auricle mainly has reaction areas for the cervical vertebrae, lumbar vertebrae, thoracic vertebrae, lumbar vertebrae, shoulders, elbows and other acupoints. This method can strengthen the brain, kidneys, hearing and eyesight. It can prevent and treat diseases such as impotence, frequent urination, constipation, low back pain, cervical spondylosis, palpitations, chest tightness, headaches, and dizziness.

6. Press the ear cavity

First, press the depression at the edge of the opening of the external auditory canal. This area has the heart, lung, trachea, and triple burner acupoints. Press 15 to 20 times until this area becomes noticeably warm. Then, press the upper depression. This area has acupoints for the spleen, stomach, liver, gallbladder, large intestine, small intestine, kidney, and bladder. Rub and press back and forth 15-20 times.

7. Lift the tip of the ear

Use your left hand to reach around the top of your head, and use your thumb and index finger to pinch the upper part of your ear, kneading this area first. Then pull upwards until the area becomes congested and hot, 15-20 times each time; similarly, use your right hand to go around the top of your head, and pinch the upper part of the ear with your thumb and index finger, kneading this area first. Then pull upwards until the area becomes congested and hot, 15-20 times each time. The acupoints here include Shenmen, pelvis, internal and external genitalia, feet, ankles, knees, hip joints, as well as Ganyang and Fengxi points.

8. Pull the earlobes

Use the thumb and index finger of both hands to massage the earlobes at the same time. First, knead and warm the earlobes, and then pull the earlobes down 15-20 times to make them hot. The acupoints on the earlobe include head, forehead, eye, tongue, tooth, and cheek points.

9. Push behind the ears

Place the middle fingers of both hands behind the ears, and rub back and forth along the Yifeng, Jimai, back of the auricle, and up and down the Luxi for 20-30 times each until the local skin becomes warm. It has the effect of nourishing the kidneys and liver and lowering blood pressure.

10. Massage the whole ear

After rubbing your palms together until they are warm, massage the front of the ear backwards, then fold forward and massage the back. Repeat 5-6 times. This method can dredge the meridians and has a health-care effect on the kidneys and internal organs throughout the body.

Expert comment: All of the above methods can be used every time, or you can selectively use a few of them. After rubbing the ears, it is best to comb your hair dry. Combing your hair with ten fingers can stimulate the meridians in the head, increase blood circulation in the brain, lower blood pressure, and effectively treat and prevent cerebral arteriosclerosis and cerebral thrombosis. Combing your hair with your hands should not be less than 30-40 times each time.
