Small nipples under the armpits

Small nipples under the armpits

Accessory breast is a relatively common female disease. It is a developmental disease. Don't worry too much about it because it has no direct relationship with some malignant tumors. Compared with normal breast tissue, the glandular tissue of accessory breast has a lower chance of cancer. Of course, this condition will affect a person's figure, so it can be treated by certain methods. The most common one is surgery. Let's take a look at this aspect.

Small nipples under the armpit

1. Small nipples under the armpits are most likely accessory breasts. Accessory breasts are developmental diseases and have no clear relationship with malignant tumors. The glandular tissue of accessory breasts is less likely to become cancerous than normal breast tissue. Women with accessory breasts do not need to worry too much about this.

2. Most accessory breasts are small in size, or do not cause serious discomfort or affect life, so no special treatment is required. Regular physical examinations along with normal breasts will be sufficient.

3. The following situations require surgical treatment:

(1) Those whose accessory breasts are too large to meet their appearance or affect their lives;

(2 ) Those who cannot tolerate the pain in the accessory breast;

(3) Nodules are found in the accessory breast, which may be benign or malignant tumors;

(4) Those who have high requirements for cosmetic appearance.

What are the diagnostic methods for accessory breast?

1. Local bulges or subcutaneous masses near the armpits or around normal breasts;

2. When palpated, it can be picked up with fingers. It is soft, has unclear boundaries, and has a tough tissue that feels like a glandular lobe.

3. After pinching with fingers, fat lobes can be seen under the taut skin;

4. Near-infrared scanning of the mass produces grayscale images of the breast. Accessory breast should be differentiated from lipoma and sebaceous cyst. When differentiating it from lipoma, it is easier to distinguish because near-infrared rays have high penetrating power on fat. Sebaceous cysts have clear boundaries and are mostly round in shape. Near-infrared scanning also reveals images of varying grayscales, but the images often disappear when the skin is pinched.

Under normal circumstances, women only have two breasts. If you find small nipples growing under your armpits, it is very abnormal, so women must be alert immediately. You can first judge by yourself whether it is a case of accessory breast. If you judge it is, or if you cannot judge it yourself, you should go to the hospital and let a professional doctor make a judgment. If the doctor determines that surgery is necessary, then the surgery should be performed immediately.
