What is the normal body temperature?

We all know that in our daily lives we may get sick and have a fever due to various problems. The so-called fever means that our body temperature exceeds the normal value. Once the body temperature exceeds this normal value, we will feel uncomfortable, and sometimes we will have headaches, nausea, vomiting and other feelings. I believe everyone would like to know the concept of normal human body temperature. So what is the normal human body temperature? Let scientific research tell you.

Scientific research shows that the body temperature of different parts of the human body is different at different times of the day, and there are differences in the body temperature of men, women, young and old in different parts of the body at different times. Moreover, the normal body temperature of the human body is not a fixed value, but it fluctuates within a very stable range.

The normal oral temperature (also known as oral temperature) is 36.2℃~37.2℃, the axillary temperature is 0.2℃~0.5℃ lower than the oral temperature, and the rectal temperature (also known as anal temperature) is 0.2℃~0.6℃ higher than the oral temperature. During the day, body temperature is lowest between 2 and 5 in the morning and highest between 5 and 7 in the afternoon, but the temperature difference within a day should be less than 0.8℃. In addition, women's body temperature is generally about 0.35℃ higher than men's. Women's body temperature also changes slightly during menstruation.

When in a healthy state, such as with a normal diet and appropriate clothing, the human body's temperature is generally relatively constant, maintaining at around 37°C (roughly between 36.2°C and 37.2°C), and does not change due to changes in the external ambient temperature. The average normal human body temperature is between 36 and 37 degrees Celsius (axillary). Exceeding this range is fever, below 38 degrees Celsius is low fever, and above 39 degrees Celsius is high fever.

The method to measure normal human body temperature is to measure the temperature once at around 8 am, 3 pm, and 8 pm, and measure it for several days in a row. The most stable value is the normal body temperature.

Through the above introduction, I believe everyone understands what the normal body temperature of our human body is, so we can usually equip our home with a thermometer and use this normal value to judge whether our body temperature is normal. If there are any abnormalities, they can be diagnosed and treated in time to ensure our health.
