What is the fetal heart rate for a boy?

What is the fetal heart rate for a boy?

Although many young parents now know that it doesn't matter whether they have a boy or a girl, knowing the gender of their baby early can make it more convenient for parents to prepare baby clothes and name the baby. Many people say that they can tell whether it is a boy or a girl by listening to the fetal heart rate. In fact, fetal heart rate is mainly used to determine whether the fetal heartbeat is normal and healthy.

In fact, although there is no clear clinical evidence that the fetal heart rate is directly related to the sex of the fetus, after many comparisons and judgments, there are indeed some differences between the fetal heart rates of boys and girls. So, what is the specific fetal heart rate for a boy?

What is the fetal heart rate? Is it a boy?

There is a saying that if the fetal heart rate is lower than 140 beats/minute, it is a boy; if it is higher than 140 beats/minute, it is a girl.

The truth: Girls have a higher heart rate than boys, but this is only true when they are just born. There is no difference in the fetal heart rate between boys and girls.

The speed of heart rate only varies with gestational age. At about 5 weeks of pregnancy, the fetus' heart rate is close to the mother's heart rate, which is 80 to 85 beats per minute. Then, during the 9th week of pregnancy, the heart rate gradually increases to 170~200 beats/minute. Then during the second trimester, the rate gradually slows down to 120-160 beats per minute.

Normal fetal heart rate

The normal fetal heart rate is 120-160 beats/minute;

The average fetal heart rate before 20 weeks of pregnancy is 162 beats/minute;

During the 21st to 30th week of pregnancy, the average is 147 beats per minute;

The average is 139 times/minute during 31 to 40 weeks of pregnancy.

Usually, the loudest fetal heartbeat is heard on the pregnant woman's abdominal wall above the fetus's back. Due to the different positions of the fetal head, the location of the loudest heartbeat is also different. It is beneficial for pregnant women to learn to count the fetal heart rate per minute. If the fetal heart rate is less than 120 beats/minute or greater than 160 beats/minute, it means that the fetal heart rate is abnormal and further review and monitoring are required.

Now that you know the fetal heart rate, it indicates a boy. You can listen to the fetal heart rate when the fetus develops to 3 months. You may want to try to make a judgment. However, the method of judging the gender by listening to the fetal heart rate is not the most accurate. You may wish to combine some symptoms after your pregnancy to make a more detailed judgment, such as whether the taste is sour or spicy, etc., and combine them to judge the gender of the fetus.
