They usually hide in floor cracks, under carpets, and in pet beds. Afterwards, fleas may transform into adult fleas within 7 days to several months depending on the flea conditions in the environment. When there are many fleas on a pet, their eggs and black flea feces can be found together. If red stains are found, they are formed when the feces are wet.
